What size cut-out does the ER3601T need?

VATTI publishes no dimension drawing or specification panel for this model, so there is no figure on this page to work from. Any authorised dealer has the instruction manual and will measure the opening with you before ordering.

Is a ceramic hob the same as induction?

No. A ceramic hob heats an element under the glass, which then heats the pan, so it works with any pan and stays hot after it is switched off, which is what the residual heat warning is for. An induction hob heats the pan itself and needs magnetic cookware. Ceramic is the simpler and cheaper of the two.

What is a dual zone for?

It changes size. At 1,000 W it heats only the inner ring, for a small pot; at 2,200 W the whole zone is live, for a wide pan. Without it, a small pan on a big zone wastes most of the heat around its sides.

Can it be used for wok cooking?

Not really. A ceramic hob heats a flat base through contact, so a round-bottomed wok touches it in one small circle. For wok cooking, gas is the right answer: the C836G at 5.5 kW or the C830G at 6 kW.

What warranty does it carry, and where can I buy it?

Two years on the hob and a lifetime warranty on the glass top, for the original buyer from an authorised dealer; register it at VATTI eWarranty at purchase. VATTI Malaysia does not sell online, so find the nearest dealer in the dealer directory.
